Showing that Jesus is God
Supernatural Bible Prophecies foretelling that Jesus
would be born in Bethlehem of Judea
Jesus was the only person in
human history whose place of birth was revealed to the human race approximately
700 years before it happened. The Prophet Micah gives it to in plain English
below
Micah 5:2
2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of
Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in
Israel;
whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. (KJV)
Matthew shows us the fulfilling of the above prophecy:
Matt 2:1-2
1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king,
behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star
in the east, and are come to worship him. (KJV)
Supernatural Bible Prophecies declaring that Jesus is
God
Jesus is the only person in the stream of human existence who was
and is God in a human body. While he was thundering in the skies, He was
helpless in His mother's arms. While he slept in those same arms, he was
sleeping in the arms of a woman He himself had made. Though He was helpless
there, He kept the planets steady in their predestined orbits. Even though He
was only moments old in Mary's arms, He was billions of years older than the
woman who gave birth to Him. Our minds cannot grasp the full meaning of the
above, but any way you look at it, Jesus was God in a human body and Isaiah
spells it out for us.
Isa 7:14
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall
conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. (KJV)
Again, Matthew shows us the fulfillment of the above prophecy:
Matt 1:22-23
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the
Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they
shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. (KJV)
Please note! “Immanuel” means “God with us.” Jesus was God in a human body.
