God will command his blessings come upon us In other words, when blessings come, they do not come willy nilly. They were not just random, chance happenings. They were as deliberate as you can get. God said that he will command them upon us. How awesome.
Here are two scriptures for you that shows you that God is in control of the blessing department. Study the context of each of these scriptures.
euteronomy 28:8 KJV 8 The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. As if this were not enough, He also tells us to command him concerning the work of his hands. Command him? Here's the scripture to prove it.
I saiah 45:11 KJV11 Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.
But what are the works of his hands that we can command? The scriptures below will guide us.
All blessings are the result of an act of God who pictures these acts as the work of his hands. Consequently, the blessings in verses 12-13 above, are seen as having come from his hands. Consequently, we can command them according to the word of God in Isaiah 45: 11 above.
He opens his good treasure unto us,
First, he opens his good treasure unto us, which comes right out of the heaven. The two blessings contained there that he commands upon us are the blessing of rain on our land and the blessings upon all the work of our hands.
We are authorized to command the good treasure in the heaven that gives the rain on our land and the blessings upon all the works of our hands.
He will get us to the place where we do not have to borrow and we can command this. He will bring us into the place where we can lend and we can command this. He will get us to the place where we are the head only and not the tail and the above only and not the beneath and we can command both of these.
We can command what God said was our promised blessing. Read the first fourteen verses in Deuteronomy 28. We are authorized to command every blessing in there. But there is more.
We can command everything here because God made it all with his own hands.
We can command everything here because God made it all with his hands. He commanded it all. Yes. He said we can command it now because it concerns the work of his hands.
Compare and connect the labour of Egypt and the merchandise of Ethiopia and the Sabeans to the verse below.
The wealth of the sinner, including the Egyptians and the Sabeans, is laid up to the just. We can command this too. Hallelujah.
Now see this: sometimes God starts us out in a smaller place than we want to be. We humans always want to be higher up the ladder than we sometimes are, don't we. Nevertheless, don't look at your small place as permanent. God has no joy in seeing you down. He made you to be above and not beneath. Your small place is temporary. You can command this too.
Suppose you just started the business you have wanted for so long. Then this recession hits and just destroys everything. You are forced to find and secure a job. It doesn't pay much. You are in a small place.
Remember this. God created that job with his own hands. Command it. tell it what to do. Then when God says in your heart that the time is right, you will start your business again. God created your job with his hands. Command it.
