Is sickness caused by demons and what can we do about it?

Jesus said many sicknesses were caused by demons! Here's a few for you to consider.

Matt 8:16
16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: (KJV)

Matt 9:32-33
32 As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.
33 And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel. (KJV)

Matt 12:22
22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw. (KJV)

In each case above, the word translated "devil" is the Greek word for "demon." In addition, each person above had medical problems plainly caused by demons.

In first verse above, Jesus equated demons with the word "spirits." In other words, these sicknesses were caused by demonic spirits or demons who inflicted these problems using "spirits" as their vehicle.

If any of these people had been examined by anyone in the medical profession today, their diagnosis would never have turned up the cause of their problems as demons and/or spirits. They would not have showed up under a microscope.

Nevertheless, Jesus dealt with these sicknesses on the basis they caused by demons. Notice also that He got results of healing and deliverance.

Is all sickness caused by spirits and demons? Probably not all. We can see that much of it is indeed caused by demons and spirits. This being the case, medical science is probably helpless in treating it effectively.
